In recent (Sept 2009) tests with the HPA, Porton Down, UK Government testing laboratories, Air Steril killed 98% of airborne bacteria. In a one hour controlled test it eliminated 52% of surface bacteria. These are truly significant results suggesting that Air Steril units offer major, cost effective methods of controlling bacteria in enclosed spaces.
